This album finds Apathetic Interest maturing and evolving into a more progressive and thrashy sound. Brutal riffs, shredding solos, and ripping drums are backed by a full orchestra, creating epic soundscapes.

Bound by Chosen Path is a concept album which tells the story of a journey through a life riddled with addiction. It examines the choices made and the consequences brought by those choices. Throughout this life, a path to salvation is offered, but choosing the self-destructing addiction brings this man to the brink of death. In this moment, he realizes that throughout all his life he has been bound by his own choices.
