JASON.CRAVEN – bass

Jason Craven picked up the bass at the age of 19 after being heavily influenced by Flea of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, notably from the Blood Sugar Sex Magic album. Jason was a founding member of the alt. metal band 3 Minutes of Hate. When this band dissolved in 1998, he decided to get serious about studying the bass and music. Jason went through an intense music curriculum at San Francisco State University beginning in 2000. Studies included piano, ear training, musicianship, diatonic and chromatic theory and counterpoint. Most important was the individual instruction on bass that he received from the faculty bass instructor, David Motto.
