Boz grew up listening to musical masters such as Milli Vanilli, Kris Kros and Vanilla Ice. At age 10, he was forced to take piano lessons. When he learned to play the Simpsons theme song at age 11, he knew there was no more point in practicing because there were no other songs worth playing. He quit the piano and picked up the guitar. After learning to play the intro to Come As You Are, his guitar skills pretty much plateaued. It was at this point that he realized he was not a musical person, so naturally he started playing the drums.
When he got married at the age of 23, he realized that he didn’t have to waste time on friends anymore, so he had a 3 hour block of time at night where he was the only person awake and so he decided that he might as well learn to play the piano again. Luckily he had a wife that would put up with his constant noise making. Since 3 hours of piano practice a night ended up being a bit much, he dedicated some of that time to learning to play the cello, violin, viola, bass and guitar, while tying it all together by mastering the art of music production.
